The TIERRA collection refers to the hometown of Franc Vilà. ​

 

He has taken typical elements from Valls, where he was born, and has turned them into art. This collection consists of three sculptures: Calçots, La Parra and Arbol. ​

 

The Calçot is a variety of tender onion, and is characterized by having an elongated shape. It is the most emblematic dish of Franc's hometown and for this reason he wanted to honor this dish by immortalizing it with a sculpture.

 

With the sculpture of La Parra, he wanted to represent a vineyard, also typical of the area, since around the city there are huge fields with this crop that are used to make wine or directly consume the grapes.

 

The sculpture of El Arbol is a bit more symbolic, since it represents life. The trunk of the tree has thorns for protection, and the branches are golden and represent achievements.
